When the company was founded, Xiangxin was only a multi-functional ladder manufacturer. Now, it has developed into a leading enterprise in the domestic special aluminum alloy material industry, and has made breakthroughs in the field of 5G and new energy vehicles.

"From the very beginning of our founding, we have the backbone of not admitting defeat and not being controlled by others. In recent years, with the care and help of governments at all levels, several hard bones have been gnawed down one after another to achieve leapfrog development. " Huang Tieming, chairman of Xiangxin Co., Ltd., said that the development momentum of the enterprise is good, and the output value is expected to exceed 20 billion yuan during the "14th five year plan" period.

In Minhou County, many leading enterprises like Xiangxin are cultivating and growing. Backbone: independent innovation, sticking to industry, becoming bigger and stronger

Recently, Xiangxin aluminum alloy recycling project has made a breakthrough. "After nearly 20 years of technology accumulation, we have launched 250000 tons of recycled aluminum and 450000 tons of high-end casting projects. With our own alloy design and development advantages, we will fully exploit the cost advantages of developing recycled aluminum resources, and the competitive advantages and profits of our products will be greatly improved. " Huang Tieming said.

"There are almost no raw materials for aluminum production in the province. In the past, we could only purchase aluminum ingots at home and abroad. " Huang Tieming said that using raw aluminum materials for remelting production has no cost advantage, which is not conducive to the development of enterprises. As a result, Xiangxin launched the aluminum alloy recycling project last year. In this project, the recycled cans and other waste aluminum products are recycled into aluminum raw materials through a series of technical treatment. On the one hand, waste aluminum is used as raw material to reduce procurement cost; on the other hand, alloy technology is used to improve alloy quality, increase added value, and make full use of circular economy technology to greatly increase enterprise income.

Being persistent in independent innovation is the secret of Xiangxin's leap forward development and the original intention of the enterprise.

In 2002, when Huang Tieming founded Fujian Xiangxin aluminum products Co., Ltd., he mainly produced all kinds of high-end multifunctional ladders. At that time, he felt that the quality of products was always subject to raw materials.

"We don't want to be controlled by others. According to the judgment of market trend, we decided to march upstream and start with raw materials." Huang Tieming said that as a result, Xiangxin sought to cooperate with universities and scientific research institutions such as Harbin Institute of technology and Central South University. At the same time, he went to investigate and exchange at home and abroad, accumulated a lot of experience and achieved a lot of results.

Accumulate steadily. On September 29, 2012, Xiangxin technological transformation project of Fuzhou mold Park started, becoming one of the key technological transformation projects of enterprises in the province. In 2013, Xiangxin invested 1.2 billion yuan to build advanced high-precision controlled melting, standing and casting equipment in Dongtai Industrial Zone, Qingkou, Minhou.

By 2019, Xiangxin's annual output value has reached 2.5 billion yuan, becoming the leading enterprise of high-performance special aluminum alloy casting, extrusion and forging materials in China.

Determined: focus on scientific research, rise as the leader of new materials

Xiangxin does not stop to become a leader in the industry.

"If we want to develop by leaps and bounds, we must have a reserve of talents and accumulation of scientific research achievements." Huang Tieming said that Xiangxin spared no effort to focus on scientific research and recruited talents from all over the world every year. At present, there are more than 100 experts in scientific research, including more than 50 foreign scientists.

Last year, Xiangxin entered the Songshanhu Materials Laboratory in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, and established a joint Engineering Center for new high performance aluminum alloy materials. With this platform resources and financial support, Xiangxin has introduced new aluminum alloy composite brake material development, new generation of high-strength materials for high-speed railway carriage plate development and other projects, covering aviation, aerospace, high-speed rail, automobile, new energy lightweight, 5G and other key fields.

Focusing on developing the real economy and concentrating on scientific and technological innovation, Xiangxin is full of determination and fruitful achievements, with a total of 110 patent applications, including 65 material invention patents.

"Replacing steel with aluminum" to achieve mass production, blowing a whirlwind in the automotive industry. In 2018, Xiangxin carried out technology digestion and transplantation of 2 ××, 7 ××× aerospace special materials, developed high-performance new energy automobile lightweight special aluminum alloy materials, and became the best choice to replace steel components and realize automobile lightweight.

"Instead of steel and iron, special aluminum alloy can reduce weight by more than 55%; instead of ordinary 6 ××× aluminum alloy, it can reduce weight by more than 25%." Feng Yongping, chief engineer of Xiangxin technology, said that at present, the company has developed lithium battery aluminum alloy tray, light truck beam, anti-collision beam and other products with better performance and price. They are supplied to CATL, AVIC lithium battery, GuoXuan High Tech and other large automobile supporting plants, and have won unanimous praise.

Last year, Xiangxin reached an agreement with Beijing Hainachuan Auto Parts Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of BAIC group, to invest 1.5 billion yuan to establish Fujian Xiangxin new energy auto parts manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Fuzhou High Tech Zone, which mainly produces new energy auto battery pack and other accessories. The project is expected to achieve an annual output value of more than 3 billion yuan. This cooperation is also the first time for Xiangxin to join hands with large state-owned enterprise groups to build a mixed economic development platform.

In addition to the automobile lightweight project, Xiangxin has also independently developed new material projects such as new infrastructure electric tower / launching tower special alloy, 5G communication high thermal conductivity aluminum alloy, new equipment high electrical conductivity aluminum alloy, all of which have obtained the national brand authorization.

According to Feng Yongping, the new 5G thermal conductive material developed by Xiangxin has reached 240W / m · K, which is 10% higher than the original global leading level in this field; the conductivity of the new conductive aluminum alloy has reached the high-end index of 60% relative conductivity. At present, high thermal conductivity aluminum alloy and high conductivity aluminum alloy have been successively applied in 5g communication base station and other new infrastructure.

With confidence: Government help to break the bottleneck of development

Develop technical support channels and broaden the application field of materials. Recently, the leaders of Minhou County led southeast automobile, Xiangxin and other enterprises to organize a delegation to Xi'an Jiaotong University for the docking of production, study and research. Feng Yongping communicated with three Professor teams on technical issues such as "how to realize the welding process of 5-series, 6-series and 7-series thick aluminum alloy plates with high performance and super thickness".

"With the joint of the county government, Professor Zhang Linjie's team is willing to support us in the 42mm high strength aluminum alloy laser welding test. It's very important for us to broaden the application field! " Feng Yongping said.

On the same day, Minhou County government also signed a letter of intent for strategic cooperation with the national technology transfer center of Xi'an Jiaotong University and theNational Technology Transfer Strait Center.

The leap forward development of enterprises is inseparable from good policies and good environment. Xiangxin is backed by Fujian, Fuzhou and Minhou, and has a solid foundation for development.

"Last year, we benefited directly from the implementation of nanny style one-to-one service in Minhou County with the new infrastructure and a new round of enterprise technological transformation policy support launched by the province and Fuzhou City." What impresses Huang Tieming most is that the aluminum alloy renewable resources project that the company is striving to build requires about 200 mu of land. "The main leaders of the county have worked on the site for many times, and in just one month, they have completed all the preparatory work before land delivery." He said.
